Bob Hauck is an expert in the design and development of Medical Devices. Since his retirement from GE Healthcare as Chief Mechanical Engineer after his 38 year career, he has served as an independent consultant and expert witness. During his career at GE he was responsible for collaborating, developing and driving the GE Healthcare Mechanical Design strategy. He also held various other roles at GE Healthcare including VP Technology Global Surgery, Chief Technology Officer Diagnostic X-ray, Chief Technology Officer Radiation Therapy, General Manager Service Technology and Productivity, GM Science & Technology Operations, GM Office of the Chief Engineer. He currently serves as the Director of the Imagineering-Foundation, a philanthropic organization that raises and distributes funds for Science and Technology organizations; the American Society of Mechanical Engineer’s (ASME) Board of Governors Nominating Committee; ASME’s Committee on Sustainability; ASME’s Bioengineering Executive Committee and a Cabinet Member of ASME’s Campaign for Next Generation Engineers.
