Richard Hart is the Industry Program Director at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), leading the Industry Program on decarbonization pathways across sectors. He manages a team combining technical expertise with advocacy for legislation, regulation, and incentives to guide decision-makers, having joined ACEEE in 2023. Previously at Cascade Energy, he developed Strategic Energy Management programs in California with manufacturers and stakeholders. Hart holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School and a BSc in Chemistry from Cambridge University.
