Flavio Dal Forno Chuahy is Interim Group Leader of the Energy Systems Integration and Modeling Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) within Advanced Reactor Engineering. His research spans fuels, engines, mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, nuclear energy, electrolyzers, and combustion in energy systems. Chuahy previously worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in ORNL’s Fuels and Engines Research Group. He received his doctoral and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Engine Research Center, and his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Maua School of Engineering in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
